Activity

 The Russian Association for the Advancement of Science (RASN) was established on the 4th of August 2011. The goal of this organization is a concerted action of its members, citizens, public associations and other representatives of civil society institutions for every kind of assistance to Russian science.

First Secretary of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation, President of National Research Centre «Kurchatov Institute» Mr. Evgeny P. Velikhov was elected as a Chairman of The Russian Association for the Advancement of Science. 

Evgeny Velikhov, Director of «Kurchatov Institute» Michail Kovalchuk, scientists Lev Borkin, Nadezhda Vavilina, Chairman of the Investment Program Foundation Maxim Viktorov were elected in the presidium. 

Powers on representation of RASN in all legal proceedings were conferred to Mr.Viktorov.
